Anthony Robbins Diet: Day 26

Day 26: Time of Your Life (5 of 10)

When you think of something you "should" do, we tend to over-think the details. For example, when you know you "should" start working out, we start imagining getting off work, the traffic we're going to be stuck in, getting to the gym, fighting for a parking spot, then going to go get changed, then warming up, then stretching, then working out, then showering, then driving back, but before you do that you need to go shopping for a gym bag because you haven't seen that darn thing forever. And when you taken something that should be one simple task of going to the gym for 1-1.5 hours, you've overwhelmed yourself before you even got to the gym. Instead, "chunk" it into one outcome. Make it seem easy, because it is. Even when tasks require many steps, when you make seem hard things easy, with momentum on your side, you will accomplish that task and people will be asking you "man, how did you find the time to do that?" And your answer would be, "I don't know. I just did it. It was easy."
