"Little kids shoot marbles

where branches break the sun

into graceful shafts of light.

I just wanna be pure,

I just wanna be pure."

--Jim Carroll

I'm trying to pick up rollerblading by going to Doyle Park late at night with my roommates. Half of the park is not lit, which lets you see the brilliant stars that you would normally miss. It's very relaxing being out in the open in a dark quiet place. It's something you never get to feel no matter how comfortable you are at home. I would recommend it to everyone. Now I understand why some people run the loop at Doyle Park even at midnight. They are not crazed obsessive compulsive runners I first assumed them to be.
